Core capabilities
Plugin code runs in a separate environment
Website delivery (site-runtime) and plugin code (plugin-runtime) run in separate environments. Each plugin uses a V8 isolate to contain faults.
Clear resource limits
Each plugin invocation has separate memory, a 64 MB ceiling and a time limit. It stops automatically when a limit is exceeded.
Controlled access to data
Plugins cannot access data or system secrets directly. Every request is checked against the website context and administrator-approved permissions.
